Andrey Treshchuk, CEO of IMPACE Group, told Digital Business how artificial intelligence is changing the role of ERP systems and the approach to enterprise automation. In his view, ERP will remain the foundation of the corporate IT landscape, holding transactions, master data, access rights and business process logic. At the same time, AI is gradually changing the way users interact with the system: instead of complex navigation and manual searches for information, more and more tasks will be handled through natural language, intelligent assistants and agents.
AI already speeds up requirements analysis, documentation, testing and user support. However, the move to more intelligent enterprise systems depends on more than the technology itself. The key factors are data quality, the maturity of the IT architecture, access management and companies’ readiness to use cloud services. For businesses in Kazakhstan this question is especially relevant: a cautious attitude to cloud solutions may slow down the adoption of new AI tools.
For more on which functions will stay with ERP, where AI already brings businesses an economic benefit and why companies should not rush to an AI-first architecture, read Andrey Treshchuk’s interview with Digital Business.
